Hydro Project Director (Based in China)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project management strategies for hydro projects in China, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of projects, including irrigation systems, reservoirs, and hydropower facilities.
• Oversee project approvals, regulatory compliance, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage budgets, costs, and investment controls to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, clients, and partners.
• Stay updated on industry trends, policies, and emerging technologies to enhance project innovation and competitiveness.
• Lead and develop a high-performing project management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Hydraulic Engineering, or related fields.
• 8 years of experience in hydro project management.
• Expertise in project planning, regulatory approvals, and construction management.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards in China
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
