Head of Finance (Based in Turkey)

Our Client:

An international biopharmaceutical company with R&D facilities and offices in Europe, North America and Asia.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day finance management of the Group’s branch office in Turkey
• Establish financial policies, procedures, and internal controls for the branch office in Turkey.
• Prepare annual budgets, final accounts, rolling forecasts, and financial models for sales and operational expenses.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements, conducting variance analysis and provide insights on profitability, costs, and revenue streams.
• Support strategic decision-making with financial data and risk assessments.
• Liaise with tax authorities, handle tax filings and tax planning
• Oversee financial audits, liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with local and corporate governance policies.

Requirements

• A good university degree in accounting or finance-related disciplines
• Professional accounting certifications such as CPA or CMA
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in financial management
• Candidates with prior relevant experience in the biopharma industry will have a strong advantage.
