2021 marks the 10th year anniversary for WiseNet Asia.  In the last 10 years, together with our staff and with support from our clients and partners, we have grown organically from an executive search firm to become a one-stop HR solutions provider.  Aside from the core services of talent acquisition, talent development, talent transition, HR outsourcing and consulting.  We have expanded fully into internship programs and youth career coaching.

Positive growth in outplacement and confidential executive search

Executive search service has always been a core service which achieves positive year-on-year growth until the global health crisis strike in 2020.  However, these were compensated by growth in demand for confidential executive search over the last few years.  We attributed the increasing demand to our number of successful placements and commitment on protecting the integrity of the hiring company throughout the recruitment process.

Our talent transition and outplacement service grew positively in Singapore and Malaysia.  While outplacement is not something with positive connotations, coaching affected individuals through a life changing period and helping them move forward to the next career of choice is a meaningful scorecard for our career coaches.  A successful outplacement case is a win-win for WiseNet Asia, our client and for the affected individual.

Cross-border collaborations that created job opportunities for local talents

WiseNet Asia has been leading in the area of Sino-Singapore Youth Talent Connectivity. WiseNet Asia collaborated with major universities in Singapore and the Chongqing Yubei District People’s Government for internship, job opportunities and entrepreneur programmes for Singapore graduates.

Under the Sino-Singapore Education Resources Strategic Connectivity, WiseNet Asia facilitated the collaboration between Chongqing Bashu Secondary School and NIE International Pte. Ltd (NIEI) for strategic co-operation in education exchanges and teaching faculty training.

Looking Forward

In the next 10 years, WiseNet Asia will be continuously creating value through developing new growth businesses in cross-border talents eco-system across major cities in Asia

To reflect our growth over these 10 years, we will be adopting a new logo ‘WiseNet Asia’ to better represent who we are – ‘an expert in Asia serving the global talent market’.

Growth doesn’t come easy without the strong commitment from our staff, the great support of our clients, associates, business partners and our job candidates I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of you.
