Hong Kong Branch Head – International Airfreight Forwarding

Responsibilities:

1. Business Growth & Market Expansion

• Identify new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and maintain strong relationships with airlines, customers, and industry stakeholders.
• Ensure sales and revenue targets are met by driving customer acquisition and retention strategies.

2. Operational & Service Excellence

• Oversee the day-to-day airfreight operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
• Optimize processes to enhance operational performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with international airfreight regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across sales, operations, and customer service.

4. P&L Management

• Oversee branch financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ensure profitability by optimizing pricing strategies and managing operational costs.

Requirements:

• A good university degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience in international freight forwarding, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing airfreight operations.
• In-depth understanding of airfreight logistics, airline partnerships, customs procedures, and global freight forwarding regulations.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.
• Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with experience in sales, revenue growth, and P&L management.
