Group Country HR Manager (Based in Jakarta, Indonesia)

Purpose of the job: Manage the HR & General Affairs functions of Group’s hospitality business in Indonesia and serve as Special Assistant to Group CEO

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the overall recruitment strategy to meet talent needs across all departments and support organizational growth
• Develop and lead the execution of the company’s human resources strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and long-term goals.
• Oversee the performance management system, including the design and implementation of effective appraisal and incentive frameworks that drive employee performance and development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, manage employee relations, and enhance overall employee engagement, satisfaction, and cohesion.
  
• Design and deliver targeted training and development programs that align with the company’s strategic direction, support individual career growth, and build a strong talent pipeline.
  
• Lead and develop the HR team to ensure operational excellence and the successful execution of HR initiatives and projects.
  
• Prepare and manage the HR budget effectively, maintaining cost control while supporting business needs.
  
• Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and regulations, proactively addressing any employment-related legal issues.
• Serve as Special Assistant to CEO and provide support where necessary.

Requirements:

• Possesses a good university degree
• About 8-10 years of experience in managing full spectrum of HR activities, with at least 3 years in a HR managerial level position in Indonesia
• Prior experience from retail, F&B or service industries will have a strong advantage
• Ability to do translation – Bahasa Indonesian, English and Chinese
