Director, OTR Tyre Development (based in Japan/ Australia)

Our Client:

A leading tyre manufacturer in the world. Due to business expansion, they have a new role for Director, OTR Tyre Development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop competitive giant tire products based on advanced engineering radial tire design technologies in response to market demands.
• Implement targeted improvements and performance enhancements for existing giant tire products based on market performance.
• Engage in forward-looking technical research work, keeping abreast of industry trends and directions.
• Formulate and execute product and technical planning based on the development trends of giant tires.

Required:

• At least a good university degree.
• More than 8 years of work experience in the design of engineering radial tires or giant tires.
• In-depth understanding of the global or regional markets for engineering radial tires and giant tires.
• Ability to establish design specifications for giant tires.
• Proficiency in two-dimensional CAD drawing application.
• Preferably skilled in basic tire simulation using ABAQUS.
• Experience in leading team-based technical projects.
• Capable of working independently on projects.
• Able to conduct work proficiently and provide guidance to others within a certain scope.
• Demonstrates creativity and ability to expand the field deeply.
• Ability to establish systems, processes, tools, and promote the implementation of methodologies
