Country Manager (Based in Singapore)

About our client

Our client is from the International Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea) industry

Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall operations and strategic direction of the Singapore branch.
• Develop and implement business strategies to achieve annual targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and implement strategies to expand air and sea freight market share, with a focus on acquiring high-value B2B clients.
• Build a multi-tier sales network and foster long-term cooperation with key clients and strategic partners.
• Design and implement value-added service offerings to enhance customer retention and repeat business.
• Monitor break-even points, optimize cost structures, and continuously improve profit margins.
• Cultivate a client-first and innovation-driven culture that aligns with company values.

 Requirements

• At least 12 years of relevant industry experience, with 3+ years in senior management; experience in Singapore or Southeast Asia regional markets is a plus.
• Strong expertise in cross-border logistics and a solid understanding of import/export regulations and tariffs in Southeast Asia.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to navigate complex market environments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• High sense of responsibility, strong ability to work under pressure, and professional ethics; ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
